Maclan Wright
Buyer’s Agent – Queenstown
Evidence-led. Diligent. Grounded.
Maclan Wright is TBA’s Buyer’s Agent in Queenstown, helping clients purchase homes, holiday retreats, lifestyle properties and investments throughout Queenstown and the surrounding region.
Maclan believes successful property purchases are built on careful research, thoughtful advice and a clear understanding of what matters most to each client. He takes the time to understand the factors behind a successful purchase: the location, the market, the opportunities, the risks and the considerations that will remain important long after settlement.
Property has been part of Maclan’s life for as long as he can remember. He grew up around family property development and investment, and was researching, inspecting and evaluating properties across Hawke’s Bay, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown long before it became his profession. LIM reports, building inspections, council zoning and due diligence have always been part of how he thinks about property.
Maclan’s route into the profession gives his clients an advantage. Alongside his New Zealand real estate licence and a full Australian real estate qualification, he learned the industry from the inside out by building the property technology behind buyer representation itself, from automated search and evaluation tools through to compliance and workflow systems. It shows in how he works: methodical, evidence-led and focused on ensuring nothing is left unchecked.
At The Buyers Agents, Maclan combines detailed research, analytical thinking and a disciplined acquisition process with the collective knowledge, market insight and nationwide relationships of a buyers-only team operating across New Zealand. His clients benefit from thoughtful advice, meticulous due diligence and a clear commitment to protecting their interests and securing the right property for their needs and long-term goals.
“My role is to help clients make considered property decisions, backed by careful research, clear advice and a thorough acquisition process.”
