Tamzin Stevenson is the Founder of The Buyers Agents and a highly experienced property strategist with a background spanning international markets, development projects, and complex acquisitions. Known for her calm and analytical approach, with exceptional negotiation capability, Tamzin specialises in guiding buyers through property decisions with clarity, structure, and confidence.

Her reputation has been built on thorough due diligence, strong advocacy, and an unwavering commitment to securing the right property on the right terms. Clients value her ability to identify risks others miss, uncover opportunities others overlook, and negotiate from a position of strength — particularly in competitive or complex transactions.

Originally from Hawke’s Bay and having spent a decade living in London, Tamzin developed early insight into property markets through her own investments abroad, purchasing property internationally while navigating unfamiliar systems and regulations. That experience now gives her a distinct advantage when advising both domestic and overseas buyers navigating the New Zealand market.

Since returning to New Zealand and moving into property full-time in 2017, Tamzin has built extensive hands-on experience across residential and lifestyle acquisitions, subdivisions, renovations, relocations, and investment projects. This practical knowledge allows her to assess properties not just as they appear today, but for their long-term value, potential, and risk profile.

Through years of working within the industry, Tamzin recognised that buyers were often left to navigate one of life’s largest financial decisions alone. Seeing the need for dedicated buyer advocacy in New Zealand, she founded The Buyers Agents to provide clients with independent representation, strategic guidance, and genuine protection throughout the purchasing process.

Today, working exclusively on the buyer’s side, Tamzin leads The Buyers Agents with a clear purpose: to ensure every client has a strategic, informed, and genuinely independent advocate representing their interests from first search through to successful purchase.
